Who can take classes at the CLC?
CLC classes are open to any public school middle and high school student in Hart County. The only entrance requirement is a signed parent or guardian permission form.
What does the CLC teach?
We teach the basic fundamentals of the Christian faith based on God’s Word and submit to the authority of the scriptures and not any one denomination.
When will CLC offer classes?
The CLC will offer classes during the school day during connections/elective class periods. Enrollment will be limited to 13 students per class.
Where will CLC be teaching the classes?
Our classes will begin at the Faith Lutheran Church on Benson Street. This facility provides a comfortable and safe environment less than a mile from campus with easy access for transportation.
How will students get back and forth from the CLC classes and school?
We are partnering with local churches to use their vehicles. Their licensed and approved drivers as well as CLC teachers/staff will be background checked as well.
Who will teach the classes at the CLC?
CLC classes will be taught by teachers and volunteers that are approved by and meet the qualifications set out by the HCLC Board. They will be background checked in the same manner as Hart County Schools employees.
Is there tuition for CLC?
CLC classes are offered at no cost to students.
How will the CLC be funded?
The Hart County Christian Learning Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and receives no funding from the federal, state, or local government. We will be funded exclusively through the donations of local individuals, churches, businesses, and organizations who give.
